The Chakra System is a complex network of energy channels connecting these wheels and is mapped throughout the whole body, much like a spiritual nervous system.

There are seven main and biggest Chakras which are found running alongside the spine (not actually in the spine). The main hurdle these days is the ambiguity of the word “energy”, with so many varying meanings. It sometimes feels like people just use the word because they do not know what they are talking about!

It is true that in some ways we are not fully sure what we are referring to. When we say “energy”, we are referring to our life force, which makes us alive and conscious, and we have not truly been able to explain the source of this life force. However, the Chakra System helps to explain the movement of this life force or “energy” and can help us understand ourselves. Working with your chakras and balancing them can help in many ways from curing ailments, to improving our emotional states, or even unblock limitations to financial success!

We work with the seven (7) main chakras which run alongside the spine. They start at the perineum (the space between the genitals and anus), and then run up in a straight line to the top of the head. The topmost chakra is in fact just outside of the body above the top of the head. Each chakra is said to vibrate at a different frequency and is associated with a particular color, very handy for chakra meditations where you can visualize the colors. They are also each associated with certain emotions and organs and their function.

I will touch upon the thirteen main chakras that make up the 12 Chakra Systems here. So why is it called the 12 Chakra System when there are thirteen chakras? Well, we're talking about chakras 0-12 here! But the reality is that you have thousands of minor chakra energetic centers throughout your mind body, and spirit.

However, by viewing the energy body through the 12 Chakra System you're able to see and experience your complete, and balanced energy body system.

Seven (7) Chakras | The Life-Force Energy Centers

#1 Root Chakra (Muladhara)

Located at the base or root, the perineum, this chakra represents grounding, and survival needs like shelter and security, often a good one to focus on if you travel a lot and don’t always have a fixed home or sense of security. Associated with the color red and the spinal column, the kidneys, legs, and colon.

#2 Sacral Chakra (Svadisthana)

Located by the Sacrum, a large piece of bone at the base of the spine, but above the coccyx. This chakra represents pleasure, emotional balance, and sexuality. Associated with the color orange and the reproductive organs, prostate, and bladder.

#3 Navel Chakra (Manipura)

Located by the belly button, this chakra represents our willpower and assertion, it is yellow in colour and associated with the pancreas, liver, and stomach.

#4 Heart Chakra (Anahata)

Located centrally near the heart, this chakra represents of course, love, unconditional love, acceptance, compassion, and intuitiveness. The color is green or pink and the associated organs are the heart, the circulatory system, the arms and hands.

#5 Throat Chakra (Vishudha)

Located at the throat (quelle surprise!), this chakra is all about communication, creativity, truth and reliability. The color is blue, and the organs associated are the thyroid, hypothalamus, throat, and mouth.

#6 Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)

Located in the center of the brain, at a cross section found between the eyes and just above the ears. This chakra represents wisdom, imagination, intuition, and an ability to analyse and perceive truth in the world. The color is a deep purple, and the associated organs are the pituitary gland, the nose, the ears and the pineal gland.

#7 Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)

The only chakra to be found outside of the physical body, this is located just above the crown of the head in what is considered our “spiritual body”. There are less words about this chakra as it is the chakra associated with higher consciousness, pure unconditional love, and a state of pure being (beyond words!). There are no physical organs associated, but it is associated with vitalizing the upper brain, and the color is a light purple or indigo, or white.

Chakra 0 – Your Earth Star Chakra

As a physical being on Earth, you have a unique connection with the Ascending Earth, and to All That Is.

Your Earth Star Chakra is your personal link the Earth’s life force, to the crystalline grid, and to the Divine light contained within the Earth.

Chakra 8- Your Soul Star Chakra

Your eighth chakra is the Soul Star Chakra. When activated, Divine light is able to flow through this energetic center to access higher consciousness. Here Divine love can be truly felt and experienced, and awareness of your power as a Divine soul and spiritual being is recognized.

When open, Divine light flows up through this chakra, connecting you to the infinite power of the Divine light above before flowing back down to your entire being to replenish, empower, and enlighten, before flowing up once again.

Chakra 9- Your Spirit Chakra

This chakra, when opened will allow you to link to the expanse realms of spirit. Here you will remember your direct connection with Source, and your ability to communicate with light beings, angels, guides, and star beings from around the galaxy.

When this chakra is activated, you willingly surrender to the flow of Spirit and allow the blessings of Divine will to flow into your experience.

The full extent of your souls' gifts and abilities are also available for you to access, perfect, and draw upon, along with the realization of your expansive ability to create, empowered through your direct connection to Source.

Chakra 10- Your Universal Chakra

This chakra represents the universal aspects of being. All That Is, is contained within one universal flow, and this chakra is the access point to that infinite flow of creation. When this chakra is activated, you feel in close alignment to the Universe and All That Is. The pathway is paved for you to connect with the Divine light beings in the universe and to complete the alignment of your Divine light body with your physical being.

This chakra activated allows for your Divine Merkabah light body to be fully constructed, allowing unlimited access to travel within the higher realms of spirit.

Divine healing, balance, and full access to the Divinity of your soul are possible with the activation of your Universal chakra.

Chakra 11- Your Galactic Chakra

Your galactic chakra, when activated allows for advanced spiritual skills, travel beyond the limits of time and space, teleportation, bi-location, and instant manifestation.

Here you are able to reach anywhere in the realms of Creation, communicate with the highest vibrational light beings, ascended masters, and the great brotherhood of light… Here you are able to bring healing, insight, and growth from the highest realms into your present existence. Activating this chakra within yourself brings balance to humanity, Earth, and the higher realms of spirit.

Chakra 12- Your Divine Gateway Chakra

With your Divine Gateway chakra activated, your Divine essence is intact. This chakra center is the Divine light portal allowing your complete connection to Divine Source and offering an open doorway to explore other worlds and realms.

Here, full ascension, advanced spiritual skills, complete oneness with Divinity and full connection to the cosmos, other worlds, and beyond is realized.

Here you enter the Super Galactic Realms, access the Divine Mother, and the Womb of the entire Universe. Activating this chakra allow you to access the Goddess light, become one with the Mother, and become a star gate yourself enabling peace, balance, and ascension to enter humanity through you.

All the rays of the Divine, and all the qualities of the Divine represented by the higher vibrational beings align with you here.

Activate this chakra and allow all the blessings to then flow back down. Divine light pouring down through your higher chakras, in through your soul star and down your spinal column, through your Earth Star Chakra and directly connecting to the light at the core of the Earth before flowing up in an unending loop of Divine awakening, presence, growth and advancement once again.
